The intriguing architectural dynamics the famous Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid, Zaha Hadid Design, is reflected in the new The Strip vases’ collection for the famous porcelain brand Rosenthal.
Architectural forms are transformed into sculptural in the vases of the Strip Collection. The vertical porcelain “ribbons" highlighted with gold lines, which sometimes become their fragments. Both of them form an asymmetrical shape of the vase, the square base is smoothly converted into a round top.
The asymmetrical rhythm of the" ribbons " and gold lines creates a sophisticated form, thanks to which the vases from The Strip Collection belong to the high design.
The Strip collection includes three sculptural vases and two bowls of different sizes.
Rosenthal has previously collaborated with famous designers and artists such as Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Walter Gropius and Werner Panton.
