If you want to see the world's best interior & product design, then you should come to Milan, at the Milan interior design fair ISaloni and Milan Design Week, which are held simultaneously. ISaloni fair is traditionally held in April every year and gathers the best Italian and world manufacturers of furniture and interior design products, and a lot of avant-garde thinking designers from different countries.
The most interesting new collections of design interior objects and demonstration of innovation in interior design are presented in the new exhibition center Rho Fiera, designed by the famous Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas, as well as in numerous Milan design galleries. There are spectacular shows on the stands with aesthetic conceptual display of objects.
We present in this article the most important and innovative design products and interior concepts shown at the Milan furniture fair ISaloni 2018 to renew your memories and to prepare for the design novelties of ISaloni 2019.
One of the most spectacular concepts of home interior on the stand and collections of upholstered furniture were sofas, armchairs and poufs Geo, designed by Paolo Grasselli and Kepi designed by Emilio Nanni for Saba Italia company. Rounded shapes and subtle stylish furniture bases are combined with bold shades of wallpapers in the style of geometric abstractionism and textiles, the whole interior produces a very harmonious impression.
Bright new furniture design pieces were presented by Jacopo Foggini and innovative Edra company. Master of picturesque furniture made of plastic-polycarbonate, Jacopo Foggini gilded the chair Ella in the full sense of the word – its base covered by 24-carat gold, and the back seat is made in gold color.
Jacopo Foggini also presented the Egeo table for Edra, in this case the master changed his signature material - polycarbonate, and made a table top of glass with irregular edges.
The Egeo table is also produced by Edra from black glass.
The Egeo table can also have a circular shape and looks very impressive with golden Ella chairs.
Moroso, a trendsetter factory in the interior fashion, showed extravagant novelties, such as Seku armchair, designed by German designer Sebastian Herkner.
The armchair Seku was a bright addition to the collection of mostly outdoor furniture - M'afrique.
In West-African language, Wolof Seku means "parrot". The armchair is luxurious, with huge gems depicted on the seat upholstery.
Spanish-Italian designer Patricia Urquiola, on the contrary, presented with Moroso sofas Chamfer in delicate colors. The sofa Chamfer is characterized by the absence of excessive softness, harmful to the back while stying in it long, and it has maximum comfort.
The collection of colored armchairs Lilo Family designed by Patricia Urquiola also for Moroso is very interesting, too.
The famous Israeli-British designer Ron Arad reminded about his equally famous 3skin chair for Moroso, which is now produced in soft upholstery.

The Belgian designer Vincent van Duysen designed new models of upholstered furniture, such as the Albert sofa and the Elain chair for Molteni & C.
Flou factory celebrated its 40th anniversary at the ISaloni 2018 and presented a new concept of "the Flou Home", the concept of a holistic home interior, although for many years the Flou factory produced design beds for healthy sleep, known all over the world.
Now there were tables (for example, B-WAVE table designed by Massimo Castagna) and lamps (for example, B-SHELL lighting designed by Massimo Castagna), and, of course, beds, such as the bed Mandarine designed by Emanuela Garbin & Mario Dell'Orto.
Italian designer and architect Massimo Castagna, who is also the art director of the Henge factory, designed the best dining table Oxymoron, shown at the fair ISaloni 2018.
Oxymoron table top is a mosaic application created by craftsmen from layers of walnut massive wood.

Kartell - the most innovative company in the field of technological materials, such as high – quality plastic, presented the first collection of chairs made of wood - Woody Collection, designed by Philippe Starck.
Wood, a natural and warm material, attracts people. Design items made of wood have become a trend in 2018. The Kartell factory has been successful in a technology that allows to bend the plywood sheet in various ways, which was never made before.
Danish designer Thomas Pedersen in his usual way made an elegant armchair Kram of bent plywood in the spirit of Scandinavian design for the young Italian company Infiniti Design, read more here.
The world-famous Italian architect Renzo Piano presented at ISaloni 2018, together with the Riva1920 factory.
